Two of the losers who shot Miss 14 in the leg (and another woman in the arm) with a BB gun a couple of weeks ago appeared in the Lower Hutt District Court this week. One was remanded for a few days because his lawyer was unavailable (he had trial matters in Wellington.) The second defendant pleaded guilty and was convicted and sentenced to undertake 40 hours community work. And the Judge decided he should pay each victim $100 as emotional harm.
Yes, Virginia, there is justice.

thats nice to know....what loosers they were. I wonder if they now realise that there are consequences for their actions.
It would be interesting to see if they actually pay the $100 compensation. If they are unemployed I guess it will be at $5pw or less!
