ARMY PARTY

Elliot's army party yesterday was great. I highly recommend Kelly Sports and their parties as a great way for kids to burn off energy before you get them back to your house for food.

10 boys. Copious amounts of pizza, chips, drink (interestingly more water than coke). Homemade icecream sundaes. An army cake that was big enough to feed an army. Ration packs to take home. No tears. No fights. Happy. (Are boys easier than girls?)

And today Mr 8 and DH are off to Armageddon - the Pulp Fiction expo. Talk about spreading out your birthday for a week!

Oh and it all starts again next weekend (when we'll have a teenager in the house). Another birthday. Bring it on.

The cake looks awesome Mel :)

I have a friend who is a member of a Star Wars costuming group, they are the folks inside those storm trooper and other costumes at gigs like Armageddon, he brought his costumes to our Christmas party once and let the kids try the storm trooper helmet on.
