A WORK IN PROGRESS

I get on the scales. I realise that finally I now weigh 30kgs less than I did 2 years ago.

It's taken a while. My weight loss plateaued for about 12 months after I lost the first 20kgs. I still exercise 5-6 times a week. But 10 weeks ago I joined Weight Watchers. 10 more kg gone.

So today I join the gym's Midwinter Makeover Challenge. 10 weeks of personal training, nutrition and exercise seminars, a bootcamp session (scary), before and after measurements and photos. Hmm, wonder how much I can lose in the next 10 weeks. Before summer.

There's still a way to go. Maybe 15, maybe 20 kg. But I suddenly smell an end to this journey. That it really is possible.

Well done you are making me feel slightly like I need to get back on track(this could be because of the cheese, crackers and wine sitting by the computer). Way to go 30 kilos and well done on keeping it off and aspiring to do more.

GOOD LUCK MEL! It's exactly the same thing my gym is doing, except for 12 weeks. We can do this :)
