TWO OF US

Tidying away my loot from Crafting Coonection last night I decided to take a photo of the layout I made in Nic Howard's 'Two of Us" class. The title on the page was meant to be 'Two of Us" but I never can keep to the rules - I must frustrate tutors as I always zoom off and do my own thing (and often muck things up as a result!). I'm definitely a 'rip, sh*t and bust' person when it comes to anything arty - no measuring or taking hours to complete something. It's gotta be done in the minimal time. However, I always say, there are no wrongs when it comes to scrapping - my way is the right way for me.

Janine will recognise the quote ( it's the Emily Bronte quote I used in your wedding quotes album). "Whatever our souls are made of, his and mine are the same".

That is cool Mel. I saw heaps of the 'two of us' pages at CC and it is good to see a different take on it. Go you!

Love the layout. Now I am giggling because I would love to have had you sit next to Ann who is a Virgo. She is very measurement and detailed focussed.......I would have love to have seen the look on both your photos.....I love that quote. Reminds me I need to do a collage to post on blog of album.

Mel the page is great. I can so identify with your scrapping style. I'm just like that too and can't bear to fiddle fart around. I want to 'inish it now I've had the idea' Must admit I could learn from those 'virgo' types

What a gorgeous quote Mel, and it really finishes that layout perfectly.

Great quote and suits the layout entirely.

I rarely measure stuff either.. if it looks okay then I bung it on. Sometimes it doesn't work but hey, I can't be bothered mucking around to the last millimetre.

I just love that pic of you and yours Mel - just gorgous. Can't say that mine is finished yet - I have Ann's Virgo disease and just couldn't cope with the floppy paper with the holes in the middle. Then I freaked out having punched the holes out the wrong way and wasn't happy with the end result huh!

Awesome page Mel love seeing stuff from classes I missed at CC2006 one of the many things we have learnt this year is to cram in as many classes as we can next year

love your scrapping process! I find I dislike the layouts that I have spent toooo much time thinking about - lie trying too hard.
