July Book: Wolf Hall
Author: Hilary Mantel
Hey Blogosphere Book Circlers - has anyone read this? I haven't seen any reviews and July is coming to an end...
As for me...
OMG I've just read some reviews about this book on Amazon and I'm kicking myself. It sounds like something I'd really want to read but...
I got it from the library about a month or so ago and, well, things were a bit hectic at home and it sat next to my bed for two weeks without me opening it and when I went to renew the book from the library I couldn't because lots of people were waiting to read it. So I had to take it back. Unread. Bummer. And it won the Booker prize!
I have reserved it again. Later in the year I wil read it.
Sorry folks.

I'm reading it now and loving it!!
Yep - did read it and enjoyed it once I got into the style. Haven't blogged yet... too busy.
It has a massive wiaitng list her ein Christchurch at all the libraries so I haven't read it.
BUT I bought a Kobo on Friday & guess which book I downloaded to it first.... Wolf Hall, so I'm going to be able to read it when it suits my schedule & not some one elses.
I am halfway through and really liking it but at the rate I am reading, it might take all year! As Penny says, quite a different writing style which takes a little bit of getting used to but worth the effort!
