CHRISTMAS WISH LIST

So people are already telling me how many days it is 'til Christmas

I have a hunch that this is not going to be a year like last year when I had all the Christmas shopping finished by 30 November. Most years I still have one gift to buy on Christmas Eve. I actually like the hustle and bustle on Christmas Eve. The sense of urgency. But I wouldn't like to be buying all the presents then. Just one.

This year as well as shopping for family and friends I again have to buy gifts for 30+ kids who will be attending the AMR Consulting Kid's Christmas party. I actually quite like doing it but there is that wee stress thing in the background. I will hopefully get 'the list' about 2 weeks before the pressies are required.

So what's on your 'wish list" for Christmas?

Me? I never want anything. A kiss and a sleep in would suit me. But if I have to pick something I always say it's not Christmas unless I get a book. What I most enjoy at Christmas is a few days away with D and the kids. And the possiblility that in our travels I might find a little 'something' to purchase and take home as a memory of a great time.

What about you?

Not even thinking about "the days until xmas" I normally have a list of things I want, I am not sure what I want for xmas this year. Because marrying Mike was enough.

The same thing that I ask for on every gift giving occasion - happy children with no fighting! But yeah, Christmas relaxing also needs a book.

I must get mine done next month. Because I'm likely to get a baby for Christmas...

Actually what I don't want for Christmas is a baby. I hope it comes later! But a book would be nice. Something light that I can read easily while feeding bubs.

Good health! I'm in good health, but we have a bit of ill health in our family, and it would be nice for people to be feeling on top of the world, especially at Christmas time.

I would like to just all spend time together with my family for Christmas. Don't tell them that tho!! I'll be telling them I want scrapping goodies.

Yes, I've been starting to think about Christmas. It comes around so quickly.

Mmm as for the Christmas wish - No war and peace would be nice. I'm looking forward to just enjoying the process and the day.

Every year is different isn't it. That's what makes Christmas special : an *occasion* which is a different kind of special each year.
I like best to have my brother(s) and their families around for Christmas. That's it - just to spend time with the family.
